Sekolah Sri UCSI is seeking a passionate and qualified Primary Bahasa Melayu Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging and effective lessons based on the Malaysian KSS (Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Menengah) syllabus, fostering students’ language proficiency, moral values, and foundational understanding of Islamic teachings.
Sekolah Sri UCSI is seeking a passionate and qualified Primary Bahasa Melayu Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging and effective lessons based on the Malaysian KSS (Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Menengah) syllabus, fostering students’ language proficiency, moral values, and foundational understanding of Islamic teachings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in Bahasa Melayu in alignment with the KSSR syllabus.
- Teach core Bahasa Melayu skills including reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
- Encourage active participation through interactive, student-centered, and activity-based learning approaches.
- Incorporate digital tools, storytelling, and project-based learning into lessons.
- Assess and monitor student progress through Pentaksiran Bilik Darjah (PBD), assignments, and classroom activities.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to support student development.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding students’ academic progress and well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning and curriculum development.
- Participate in school events, co-curricular activities, and programmes related to language and religious education.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Bahasa Melayu, Islamic Studies, or a related field.
- Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent).
- At least 2 years of teaching experience at the primary school level.
- Familiarity with the KSSM (Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Menengah) syllabus is preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital teaching tools.
- Passion for teaching young learners and supporting their holistic development.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
