About the Job
Key Responsibilities:
Software Development & Maintenance:
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain internal web applications and software systems.
  • Customize and enhance existing school management systems and digital platforms.
  • Troubleshoot software issues and provide timely bug fixes and technical support.
  • Develop APIs and integrations between different school systems.
System & Database Management:
  • Manage databases, data structures, and backend systems securely and efficiently.
  • Ensure data integrity, backup, and system reliability.
  • Generate reports and dashboards for management and academic teams.
Collaboration & User Support:
  • Work closely with academic, admissions, finance, HR, and operations teams to understand system requirements.
  • Provide user training and technical guidance where necessary.
  • Document system architecture, workflows, and technical procedures.
Security & Compliance:
  • Ensure software and systems comply with cybersecurity and data privacy standards.
  • Monitor application performance and implement security improvements.
  • Support disaster recovery and system continuity planning.
Innovation & Digital Transformation:
  • Recommend new technologies and digital solutions to improve school operations.
  • Assist in automation initiatives and digital transformation projects.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of software development experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as: 
    • JavaScript
    • Python
    • PHP
    • Java
    • C#
  • Experience with: 
    • Web development frameworks
    • SQL/MySQL databases
    • API integration
    • Cloud platforms
    • Version control systems (Git)
  • Knowledge of school management systems or education technology is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural school environment.
