Job Purpose
The Sports Facilitator will work closely with the Head of PE/Swimming to manage, develop, and expand the school’s sports programs. This role involves leading diverse sports practices, managing logistics for external tournaments, and driving student engagement across multiple sports disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Practice Facilitation: Plan and run high-quality practice sessions for a wide variety of sports.
  • Tournament Coordination: Take full responsibility for organizing logistics, student safety, and transport for external tournaments and competitive events.
  • Program Development: Collaboratively build and scale school sports teams, looking for innovative ways to grow the overall sports program.
  • Flexible Support: Adapt to a dynamic 45-hour work week that shifts according to the school’s fixtures, including day sessions, evenings, and Saturdays.

Job Requirements Essential Criteria:
  • Autonomy: Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours based on the school's sports calendar and event schedules.
  • Compliance: Valid certifications in Safeguarding and First Aid (or commitment to complete training immediately upon starting the post).

Desirable Criteria (Nice to have, but not limited to):
Ability to specifically coach any of the following sports:
  • Badminton.
  • Football.
  • Netball.
  • Basketball.
  • Benchball.
  • Squash.
  • Dodgeball.
  • Table Tennis.
  • Chess.
